When I first arrived here, I was detoxing hard from alcohol and was in such a poor state mentally that I was seriously considering suicide. I had nothing and felt like there was no reason to live. I was nervous walking in, but I was immediately treated with compassion. During my stay, I felt loved, cared for and safe.
