We are often called to multitask without regard to our capacity to attend to several tasks at a time. We are called to care for others including our family members and others around us, often neglecting our own needs. There remains little quiet to focus and center ourselves on what is and what should remain important. We are often told what is important and as a result, demand our attention. We are genetically loaded but not held prisoner to emotional difficulties which have been passed down from one generation to the next. We can be mentally aware and healthy. We can make the change. We are the change. Mental health is the ability to challenge what is wrong and that which doesn't work. Mental health is the ability to move beyond our difficulties and accentuate our strengths, to help ourselves and to help others.
